The Thoroughbred Club joins youngest Trainer in the country. King's Reste Racecourse Side

We are excited to have The Thoroughbred Club II as new owners involved in the yard with their leased ownership of Mercian King (IRE). Looking forward to their added interest in jump racing, now as owners to enjoy the thrills Mercian King’s up and coming races. A possible race target for Mercian King could be a handicap chase at Fakenham over 2 miles on 26th November. To become a part owner of Mercian King along with other young enthusiastic members follow this link: http://www.thethoroughbredclub.co.uk/

Tattersalls proved interesting, with a strong market, and patience was a virtue as last night we purchased a precocious daughter of Holy Roman Emperor out of Blessing Box. She was Lot No: 1580, quite late on in the evening, but well worth the wait. My comments regarding this filly is that physically she looks a real early type and with plenty of speed in the pedigree, as well as being a 1st February foal. She should be hitting the racecourse at the very start of the season, was bought on spec and should you be interested in owning all or part owning her, please do get in contact.

Everything is going according to plan with all the other horses in the yard, Pyla has an entry at the Tattersalls sales the week after next. We’ll be very sad to see her go, having given me plenty of fun over the past year. The National Hunt horses are mainly awaiting some rain before we start entering them up, however, they are all in good form.
